HSBC Bangladesh, in partnership with the Ministry of Commerce and British High Commission Dhaka, held the award ceremony of the HSBC Export Excellence Awards on 7 December 2025. Four awards were presented to honour the determination and achievements of Bangladesh’s exporters - enabling businesses to open up a world of opportunities beyond borders

These awards celebrate the grit and ambition of our exporters, but the path ahead requires strategic evolution. While acknowledging the current success, we must work collaboratively for the country to achieve greater market diversification and maximize the benefits of existing and future preferential trade agreements. We are grateful for the collaboration with Ministry of Commerce and British High Commission for this flagship initiative by HSBC.

Established manufacturers in the RMG sector contributing significantly to Bangladesh’s exports
Eligibility: Annual export revenue of USD 100 million and above
Export Excellence – Ready Made Garments Backward Linkage
Companies supplying critical materials and support to the RMG value chain.
Eligibility: Annual export revenue of USD 50 million and above
Export Excellence – Non-Traditional / Emerging (Manufacturing)
High-potential manufacturing sectors including agro-processing, light engineering and electronics.
Eligibility: Annual export revenue of USD 10 million and above
Export Excellence – Non-Traditional / Emerging (Services)
Service exporters in areas such as ICT, digital platforms, and creative industries
Eligibility: Annual export revenue of USD 5 million and above
